Ashley France joined ARK Financial Planning in 2007 after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006 with a degree in Economics for business.
Ashley always wanted a career in the ‘client facing’ side of the Financial Services industry and saw the opportunity at ARK to develop his career in a local well respected practice.
Ashley passed his final Certificate in Financial Planning examination in January 2009. This level of qualification is the same as over 75% of financial advisers in the country and is a starting level of qualification enabling Ashley to give basic financial advice. Ashley immediately embarked upon a course of study to gain the Diploma in Financial Planning, this is the objective benchmark required by the Financial Services Authority to be able to give financial advice from 2012 onwards, Ashley is looking to gain the qualification in June 2010 …well ahead of schedule.
As a continuing commitment to his personal development Ashley has decided to further continue his studies past Diploma level in order to try and achieve Chartered Financial Planner status in the next few years. This qualification is widely perceived to be the pinnacle of achievement for a financial planning professional and is currently held by only 1,600 or so advisers in the country.
